Open Source Business Videos, OpenOffice.org Extensions and Download Counters, Mandriva 2009: Open Source links, 14-02-2009
LCA: The Business of Open Source, Australia, January 2009 – FOSSBazaar is hosting videos of the “Business of Open Source” (DevBiz) mini-conference at Linux.conf.au (LCA). Among many I watched Arjen Lentz speech and Ross Turk presentation.
Remember to install extensions for OpenOffice.org – If you haven’t looked at them yet do it now, consider the pagination extension to easily put no page number on the first page.
Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible – Some very unlikely figures appearing in the OpenOffice.org daily statistics, as originally reported by my friend Italo Vignoli. Italy will continue to announce download figures cleaning them up in a conservative fashion. Stay tuned.
Mandriva 2009.1 Beta Boots Faster – The beta version of the upcoming Mandriva Linux 2009.1 (Spring) distribution is available, RC1 is due on the 3rd of March.
