About the openness and freedom in cloud computing, Philippe’s article reports Moglen’s vision and opens to the architecture issue, guess we’ll add more and more information to his first draft in the upcoming weeks.

There is an interesting debate around Freedom vs. Openness of Cloud since a while now. A good example of the arguments to this debate are developped by Philippe Aigrain and you may found / discuss them on 2020 Floss Roadmap next edition

è stato interessante partecipare ed ascoltare i diversi punti di vista, sicurezza e privacy in testa vista l’estrazione dei relatori.

Nel dibattito finale ho accennato al fatto che il cloud a tendere probabilmente cambierà l’intera filiera, alienando o ridimensionando significativamente alcuni elementi della catena, ma ho notato ben poca preoccupazione tra gli operatori del settore.
